RULE 1 GAMES
In 2021, the co-founders of Rule 1 Games approached me about a theme and “minor text edits” for their absurd college drinking game, which was written on index cards. That was 200,000 words ago. These days, I’ve got a fancy title, company equity, and a co-creator credit on Space-Off.
Our baby launched on Kickstarter June 3, 2025, raising over $85,000 (including late pledges) through more than 1300 preorders.

Every “Trial Card” is unique. Including the Ship Shape Expansion, there are 177 mini-games, plus 8 “Surprise” rule variations, for a total of 185 cards.
