Between finding a good designer, high order minimums, and overseas manufacturing, custom-printed packaging used to be slow, expensive, and out of reach for small businesses.
In 2011, a group of coffee-lovers frustrated by the status quo bought a massive digital printer. They started offering dedicated support, domestic production, and order minimums as low as 50 units.
Ever since, Roastar has blazed a trail of stunning, attainable packaging solutions for “the little guy.” Today, the brand is growing fast, with a proportional need for new website copy and eye-catching product concepts.

An assignment that kicked me out of my comfort zone: adapting Roastar’s upbeat brand voice to appeal to veteran-owned Black Rifle Coffee Co. Some of the product concepts we pitched are already in development.
